Canada is one of the only countries in the world with no law on abortion. Not only that, polls consistently show that the majority of Canadians want abortion restrictions, do not support tax-payer funded abortion and want greater regulations like parental and informed consent. Currently, public policy does not reflect public opinion on this issue because we have a government that is out of touch with not only the concerns of Canadians, but the safety of women and preborn children. The only way we will see legislation passed in the House of Commons, is to nominate and elect pro-life candidates across the country who will pass life-saving legislation.
